I joined British Gas as an apprentice. After serving my time, I spent the next 10 years doing domestic work on all types of gas appliances. In the early eighties, I transferred across to the industrial and commercial section. I worked in this section for sixteen years, and in that time I installed, repaired, and serviced most types of gas equipment. In 1996, I left British Gas in a management buyout, and helped create a firm called Gas-Force. Gas- Force was the biggest commercial company in the UK, specialising in the servicing and maintenance of all types of Gas Equipment. In 2004, when Gas-Force was bought out by a firm called Connaught in which i set up my own business called R.T.G.
